Jodie Prud’homme originally hails from New Jersey and has been living in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1998. She is a mechanical engineer who began woodworking around 2010 at the former Grew-Sheridan Studio. In an effort to preserve space for woodworking in her rapidly changing city, she co-founded San Francisco Community Woodshop in 2015 where she has been involved in teaching, organizing and continuing her own woodworking practice. Drawn to good craftsmanship, Jodie looks forward to spending a year immersed in woodwork, continuing to explore design and savoring the time allowed to improve her skills.
