I grew up in South Dakota, graduated from California Institute of the Arts, moved to New York City, and now live in Berkeley, California. Moving from a small apartment in Manhattan to an Arts and Crafts home in Berkeley I had no furniture so I decided to make it myself. I studied at Laney College in Oakland and later set up a shop in my basement. I’ve also attended workshops at Anderson Ranch and recently at the Centre for Fine Woodworking in Nelson, New Zealand. I’m thrilled and honored to be participating in this spectacular program!
