Mattie is an illustrator from Richmond, Virginia. She came to California in 2015 to attend College of the Redwood’s Eureka campus, studying carpentry and cabinetry before coming to Fort Bragg to focus on fine furniture. She hopes to eventually extend her knowledge of woodworking as an instructor, specifically to other women.
